Elle Woods wins our hearts

The iconic Elle Woods story, primarily of ambition and determination, was brought to life in three sublime performances of Legally Blonde by our Years 9 to 12 students.

The unwavering enthusiasm and dedication by the cast, musicians and backstage crew was evident and the result was spectacular.

Legally Blonde is the last KDS musical for our Year 12 Performing Arts students Charley Cowen, Joel Green, Daniela Jona and Yoni Ringelblum. They have each played an integral role in the success of Performing Arts at our School and we are sure that their performance journey will continue to thrive in the coming years.

KDS alumnus Matan Franco (Class of 2010) debuted as our Musical Director and his patience and flair for musical precision have been an asset to our production. It was equally a pleasure to work alongside alumni choreographers, Ella Benary Belfer and Talia Benson (Class of 2019) who worked tirelessly to showcase the dancing talents of our cast through their choreography and coaching. John Reed (Class of 2012) brought his wealth of musical theatre experience to the production as stage manager. What a team!

A special mention to vocal director, Georgia Brooks who coached our students with precision and professionalism.

The world needs many Elles as we continue to break down barriers created by stereotypes and prejudice of all kinds. “Be true to you!
