Our sensational Junior Creative Arts Expo
The sports hall at the Junior School on Wednesday was abuzz with excitement as students and parents streamed in for our very first Junior Creative Arts Expo, showcasing our students’ artistic and musical talent. Please click here to see images from the afternoon.
Our Senior School band, Nana, welcomed us into the hall where an array of student art from each year level was on display, from weaving to sunflowers to pop art pet portraits and pumpkin sculptures.
Our Junior String Ensemble performed, as well as the Junior String Ensemble; the Year 5 Recorder Ensemble; the Mali, Matisse & Ella Vocal Trio; Milly & India (piano duet); and Ori & Jazzy (piano duet).
The afternoon wrapped up with a marvellous performance from our Years 3 – 5 Junior School Choir (Tziporei Shir) who serenaded us with ‘Sing Legato’, ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’, ‘Shake the Papaya Down’ and more.
It was amazing to see our students shine.
A huge thank you to Music Teacher Liz Hender and Art Teacher Marisa Mowszowski for putting on this wonderful event.
