King's Carnival
ABOUT
The King David School fete has been a beloved tradition across generations and is open to the entire community. Bring the whole family for a fun day out! It's on SUNDAY 24 NOVEMBER 2024 from 10am - 4pm. Plenty of food, arts and crafts, games and inflatables / rides. We have plenty of shade and shelter and the fete will go on in any kind of weather! See you there!
WRISTBANDS & COUPONS
While it's free to enter King's Carnival, you will need either a wristband or coupons to participate on rides, inflatables, sideshow games and the arts and crafts area. Pre-sales of wristbands and coupons have now closed. Come see us at the ticket booth upon entry.
VISITOR INFO
Entry to King's Carnival is FREE. Entrance is via Karbarook Ave, Armadale. You can walk down from Orrong Road or drop off by car (please enter from Stawell St end to avoid traffic congestion). The King David School address is 517 Orrong Road Armadale. Please note the Orrong Road gate will be closed.
VOLUNTEER SIGN UP
We ask each KDS family to sign up for one 2-3 hour shift. We have shifts before and after the carnival if that is easier for you. It takes a village to run King's Carnival! Email kdspavolunteer@gmail.com to see how you can help.
SWEET TOOTH: BAKE AT HOME
Our famous Sweet Tooth stall is always a favourite for visitors to every King’s Carnival. There will be lots of delicious cakes, biscuits and jams to buy on the day! Another way to help is to bake a cake for sale at our sweet tooth stall or join one of our group biscuit baking sessions before the Carnival. For more details, email Nadine: nadinehauser1@hotmail.com
SILENT AUCTION
This year, instead of a raffle, we are running a Silent Auction. Please bid generously on the items online! You will be notified if you have been “outbid” and offered to increase your bid to win the prize! The bidding is open now and will close at 3pm on Sunday 24 November. Prizes will be available for collection on the day at the rear of the mansion (or arrangements can be made to collect these afterwards from the School reception during school hours).

It takes a village and King’s Carnival is run by a huge support network of volunteers.
We kindly ask each KDS family to sign up for a 2-3 hour shift. You will be provided with clear instructions on the day by your Stall Holder or Area Manager.
You can write your name in any of the available slots on the sign up sheet. Ask a friend to join you, or sign up wherever you choose and make new friends in our wonderful King David community!

In order to maintain traffic flow, we ask that cars do not enter Karbarook Ave from Orrong Road. Please enter via Stawell Street.
Pedestrians are welcome to walk down Karbarook Ave from Orrong Road!
SECOND HAND BOOKS AND CLOTHES
Our famous Vintage Clothes stall is back with a special focus on formal wear and fancy dress / costumes!
As always – our second hand books stall will be filled with lots of treasure – so come and shop with us in the retail area of King’s Carnival!
Please note we are no longer taking donations.
STAGE SHOW!
Join us all day for entertainment on the stage in the food court!
Junior School KDS students will delight our audience first with KDS Got Talent from 10:30am
Senior School and KDS Alumni will then entertain us from 11:45am.
And we can’t wait for the parent and staff bands starting at 1:30pm!
