We have just received notification that The King David School has been recognised as a 5-Star Innovative Schools 2024 winner by The Educator for our Integrated English program in the Junior School. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the school’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

The implementation of Integrated English at our school over the past 12 months has transformed the curriculum by integrating literacy skills with content knowledge across subjects, significantly enhancing student learning outcomes, critical thinking, and long-term retention.

The program has been implemented by all Junior School homeroom teachers under the leadership of Janice Shearer, Kaisu Tonkyra and Beck Fiala. Thank you to all these extraordinary educators.
