This term the Year 5 Tzedakah Vaadah (Charity Committee) organised a Junior School Food Drive for Food Bank Victoria. This involved organising set items to be donated by different year levels, creating posters with information on what to donate, setting up a collection point, gathering a final inventory and raising awareness of the charity work that Food Bank Victoria do. 

The Vaadah are proud to report that over the term we collected the following items to donate:

6 cartons of Juice; 49 cartons of milk; 34 tubes of toothpaste; 23 toothbrushes; 20 cans of deodorant; 2 spools of dental floss; 2 packets of coffee beans; 11 packets of tea; 10 jars of spreads; 2 packets of hot chocolate; 7 bottles of oil; 4 cans of canned goods; 6 bags of flour; 10 jars of seasoning; 15 packets of pasta; 14 packets of noodles; 3 bags of rice; 4 packets of muesli bars; and 3 boxes of cereal.

The Year 5 Charity committee would like to thank all the families who donated goods, helping people in need across Victoria.
