Celebrating our Senior Kinder in the Urban Forest
As the year draws to a close, we celebrated our kindergartners’ journey with a magical end-of-year celebration at the Urban Forest filled with creativity, exploration, and joy!
The children were buzzing with excitement as they donned their beautiful crowns, each one uniquely decorated with little pictures representing bush, grass and beach kinder that they had cut out and stuck on themselves. These crowns symbolized their year, achievements, and the vibrant personalities they’ve shared with us.
Our festivities began with an adventurous morning in the bush. The children explored the natural world one last time as a group, marvelling at the rustling leaves, chirping birds, and tiny critters scurrying through the underbrush. Their sense of curiosity and connection to nature shone as brightly as their crowns reminding us of the countless discoveries they’ve made this year.
The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation for the big concert. The children took to the stage with confidence, performing songs and dances they had practiced for weeks. It was heartwarming to see how much they’ve grown—not just in skill, but in their ability to support and celebrate one another. As our time at the Urban Forest came to a conclusion, and we alighted the bus, we reflected on the incredible journey this year has been. From first hesitant steps into the classroom to the confident, curious individuals they’ve become, Senior Kinder children have shown resilience, kindness, and a love for learning that inspires us all.
To our Senior Kinder children: thank you for filling our days with laughter, wonder, and unforgettable moments. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll do next!
