A Carnival fit for a King!
We did it! What a fantastic, fun day out for our entire community! The rain couldn’t dampen our spirits or keep our wonderful King David community away. Thousands of people came through the gates on Sunday for the much-loved King’s Carnival.
Proud families and teachers watched on as our students performed on the stage. The food court was buzzing with delicious food and treats all day long. Children adored the arts and crafts activities and loved playing the games and winning amazing prizes! There were fabulous bargains in the second hand book stall and the vintage clothes shop.
We welcomed families from outside our school community who loved exploring the Magid Campus and were impressed with the King David community spirit on display. We welcome these families to join us and we encourage all King David families to get involved behind the scenes for the next Parents’ Association event. It takes a village to pull off this event – and we are so thankful for the 260+ volunteers who came together to make it happen!
Thank you to our major sponsors – Gary Peer, Cupra Brighton and Moose. Thanks also to all of the suppliers who made donations of prizes and food items and to the Grandparents and Friends of KDS who made donations towards the costs of King’s Carnival.
