In Jewish Studies, the Year 1 students learnt about Parashat Noach as part of their Torah unit. Today the students were involved in a ‘Noach and the Ark’ experience. Students arrived at school dressed up as one of the animals that boarded the ark. The day started where we all received our boarding passes and boarded the ark where we met Noach and his family. Students rotated between stations of learning opportunities connected to the Parsha. We built an ark, painted parasha biscuits, played bingo and participated in a range of science experiments. The day ended with a Kahoot game to which the students wrote the questions themselves.
