Students are cutting colourful pieces of paper representing family for Yom HaMishpachah - Family Day.

Celebrating Yom HaMishpachah

What does “family” mean to you? Our Junior School students took a deep dive into this question as part of Yom HaMishpachah (Family Day), where parent and grandparent volunteers assisted our students in brainstorming key words that represented “family” and then matched these words to different colours.

Small groups worked collaboratively to create spectacular collages to represent the importance of family. Thank you to our Hebrew and Jewish Life & Learning staff for bringing this special project to life and to our parents, grandparents and most importantly our students for the wonderful creative energy you brought to the day.
