Olivia Byrne - "Woods Gallery"
For my Sat folio, I intend to produce a 37 print production in the form of a fashion lookbook/magazine including fashion photography titled “Woods Gallery'' which aims to explore the meaning of fashion to the everyday woman, evoking feelings of interest and pleasure in my audience whilst instilling confidence and power in their feminine identities through the photography and diverse range of perspectives on fashion. The Magazine/Lookbook will be A4 in size featuring fashion photography depicting single and group shoots in indoor and outdoor locations.
Aiming to highlight and explore the feminine connection to fashion, much like many of the media products I focused my research around, accompanying the images will be articles and interviews centred around the models themselves, asking them tailored questions regarding fashion and their personal style and connection to it, thus resulting in a product containing a variety of images and opinions. Furthermore, the pieces will explain how my interviewees convert their personality and passions into their unique sense of style, touching on themes of self empowerment and female strength that I noticed throughout my research and want to encourage my target audience to understand and feel as a result of indulging in my production.
