The KDS Friends’ visit to JAHM on Wednesday was a sell-out. Our thanks to Leah and Charles Justin for again being wonderful and generous hosts. They each provide thought provoking and stimulating presentations, giving great insights into the artists and their work.

PAPER: The Permanence of the Temporary showcases the paper based works from Leah and Charles’ collection. It includes a broad range of art practices including drawing, painting, printing, linocut, collage, papier-mâché, sculpture, photography and digital.

Everyone enjoyed an interactive exploration of the exhibition with Charles. All were inspired and came away with a much greater appreciation of the beauty and artistic merit of paper-based artworks.

The Justins welcomed us into their private apartment after the tour where their most recent acquisitions are on display, providing refreshments and an opportunity to chat.
