Imagination and stamina at Bush Kinder
This week was Gan Tamar’s last Gan Tevah (Bush Kinder) session for the term. With the wind flying through our hair, we eagerly began running up and down the hill, jumping off the tree and rolling down through the long grass. Some of the children found a big long stick and pretended it was a witches’ broom and tried to lift it from each side so their friend could sit in the middle and fly!
After morning tea we decided to leave our usual area and go for a big long walk. The children exercised their stamina as we explored the whole park climbing through trees, logs, following paths and bridges, jumping from stone to stone.
We had a great adventure in the grass!
