P4C in our digital age
Throughout Distance Learning, the Philosophy for Children Program (P4C) has been providing our students at the Junior School with opportunities for social interaction, critical reflection through the exploration of ideas.
Our Philosophers have been investigating and discussing a variety of ethical based concepts such as lying, power, freedom, responsibility, stealing, cheating, honesty and prejudice.
Students have been happily expressing their, beliefs and building upon each other’s ideas respectfully. Whilst displaying critical thinking, our students have the opportunity to see others’ perspectives, agree and disagree respectfully in a ‘Community of inquiry.’
Our young Philosophers have been relishing P4C sessions online and have been enjoying collaborative discussion as part of a community of thinkers and learners.
