Rainbows and faces
Prep to Year 2 students raided fridges, toy boxes and pencil cases for this week’s art lesson!
Prep students experimented with making different expressions and looking in the mirror to see how their facial features changed. They then made fabulous found object faces that showed different emotions, such as happiness, fear, sadness, calm, worry and anger.
Years 1 and 2 learned about ROY G BIV thanks to a catchy song by They Might Be Giants, and made rainbow circles using Lego, pencils and toys, as well as fruits and vegetables. Seeing their creative and colourful collections of objects really brightened up my day!
