On Tuesday, Senior boys and the Yrs 8/9 boys competed in the EISM Soccer gala day. Both teams performed extremely well during the round robin phase and made it into the semi finals. Sadly the senior team were knocked out finishing in 3rd position overall.

The Yrs 8/9 boys however made it through to the Grand Final after defeating Emmaus, Eltham and Luther College. After a nervous start, our team eventually broke away through the amazing play of Jason Churilov who was later named MVP and leading goal scorer of the competition. KDS dominated play in the second half with the smooth skill in the midfield of Ariel Jona, solid defence of Gur Attias-Rabinowitz and great keeping by David Lipton. The result – Grand Final winners! Final score was 5-2 against Eltham.
