Today our Prep students met their new Year 4 ‘buddies’ for the first time. There was a lot of excitement in the room, and big smiles were seen all around when the Year 4 students walked in the room. 

The students played together, and sang the morning Tefillah. All students have been officially assigned their new buddies, and are already looking forward to seeing each other again next Friday.

The Buddy program fosters friendships across the school. This way all Prep students have an older student to turn to, and Year 4 students have a new friend to look out for. It is always a delight to see these students connect with each other out in the yard, and high five when passing each other in the corridor. Throughout the year the buddies will do tefillah, eat, play, read, explore and investigate together.
